YOI Lamp

YOI is a 3D-printed table lamp made in Zurich from PLA filament, a bio-based plastic derived from starch. Its two parts, a funnel-shaped shade and a cylindrical base, are printed and assembled with the lamp socket without tools, forming a secure friction-fit connection. The shade can face upward or downward and be freely adjusted in height, allowing playful variations with different expression. 3D printing may result in subtle differences in texture and color, which add to the lamp’s distinct look.
